Ten apprentices have begun their working careers with Degree C. Recently we held two Apprentice Orientation Days - one in Ulverstone for our North and North West apprentices and one in Cambridge for our Southern recruits.

Matthew Smith and Tim Bryant assisted on the orientation days by sharing their experiences of working at Degree C.

Matthew and Tim told the apprentices that good work ethics and commitments is the key to unlocking the many opportunities for future advancement within the company.

Other topics covered on the orientation days were:

  • Customer service training
  • Reporting requirements
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Hazard and risk identification
  • Degree C systems overview
  • Vehicle management

Degree C General Manager Michael Rogers said: "We look forward to helping our young people develop and grow as they learn the skills they need to be great tradespeople."
