When the new Country Club Driving Range opened in Prospect Vale, it introduced a completely new golfing experience to Tasmania. Behind the interactive bays, Toptracer technology and impressive audiovisual displays sits an extensive network of electrical and technology infrastructure that allows the entire facility to operate as one seamless environment.

Degree C was proud to deliver the complete electrical and technology services package for the project, helping bring one of Tasmania's most innovative recreational facilities to life.

Bringing Complex Systems Together

Modern entertainment venues rely on much more than lighting and power.

Our team was responsible for integrating a wide range of specialised systems, including intelligent lighting controls, high-performance data infrastructure, security, fire detection, emergency lighting, audiovisual systems and the electrical infrastructure supporting the venue's Toptracer golf technology.

Each of these systems needed to communicate reliably with one another, creating a fully connected facility that is simple to operate while delivering an exceptional experience for visitors.

Solving Challenges Before They Became Problems

Projects of this scale rarely go exactly to plan.

The building's sweeping curved design required precise coordination of every conduit installed within the concrete slab. Our team also encountered undocumented underground services, coordinated with international technology suppliers who joined the project late, and adapted to programme delays without compromising quality.

Rather than treating these as obstacles, our project team developed practical installation solutions that kept construction progressing and ensured every system could be delivered as intended.

One of the biggest challenges wasn't installing individual systems, it was ensuring they all worked together.

From Philips Dynalite intelligent lighting control and Crestron audiovisual systems to the building management system and Toptracer technology, our role extended well beyond electrical installation. We acted as the systems integrator, coordinating every element into one cohesive, high-performing environment.

Delivering Under Pressure

As construction progressed, programme delays placed additional pressure on the delivery schedule.

Through detailed planning, increased labour resources and careful sequencing of works, our team successfully recovered lost time and completed the project on schedule. Across more than 4,600 hours on site, the project was delivered safely while maintaining the high quality standards our clients expect.
